The Operation Saga
Early Concepts
Written and Illustrated by AlphaPainter76
The Premise
The saga starts with Operation: Miracle, staring a retiring hitman faced with a choice: leave the organization before the inevitable war starts between the branches of The Dragon, or risk permanently staying involved in order to save a child from being caught in the world war waging cross-fire.
The Operation series is a deliciously thrilling and dangerously suspenseful saga that will have you turning the page late at night when you know you need to sleep. With romantic twists and life-or-death climaxes, you will be hooked into a world of backstabs, uncertain loyalties, and survival of the fittest marksman.
The Maturity Label: Young Adult
There is a decent amount of swearing along with some mature scenes. There is a lot of blood and a lot of death.
There are also characters who struggle with mental disorders such as schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, Anxiety disorders, and Body Dysmorphia.
As much as this story is fictional, I like to write about real things that people struggle with. I want my stories to move people. I want readers to relate to the characters, and I want everyone to have a good time by the end of the saga.
The Novel/Graphic Novel Dilemma
As an artist and a writer, I constantly struggle with the urge to illustrate every scene I write about.
As of right now, these will be novels. Later on they might turn into manga/graphic novels, but with The Plague Doctor’s Apprentice still in the works, I don’t want to put my wrist under too much strain.
In the meantime, enjoy the spitball comic sheets I did:
In the film and art industry, I’m constantly looking for storyboarding opportunities. I love rough sketching animations almost as much as I love doing fully-detailed illustrations.
Here are some of my storyboarding sheets for an AMV I was working on!
You can find my animations and AMVs on my Youtube channel!
